Program
Topics presented during the EHDN2022 Plenary Meeting will contain reports on recent advances in HD research (in both basic and clinical sciences). Aside from participating in the plenary and other parallel sessions, attendees will also have the opportunity to meet experts in the field of HD studies in more informal settings.
In addition, the program also includes evening activities, ranging from informal meetings with industry experts to podium talks, movie night and a “Networking evening”.

Abstract Submission/ Poster
To submit an abstract, you simply need to fill out the form provided on the platform and sign the provided license approval and upload both.
An abstract needs to be submitted in English and has to follow the structure of subject index, abstract title, author names, author affiliation, content (max. 250 words) and Keywords (max. 5). Further instructions will be published on the submission platform.
Selected abstracts will be published by JNNP in September 2022.
Selected submitters have the chance to present their abstract content on a poster or even live at the EHND2022 Plenary Meeting in Bologna. Please find further information on the poster presentation HERE.
Conference Fee
The fee for each participant amounts to 250 EUR. It is payable by credit card, PayPal or SEPA bank transfer during the registration.
There are discounted pricing categories available for students and members of HD families.
Please note: the conference fee cannot be claimed back from EHDN and exceptions cannot be made.
Travel & Accommodation
All participants are responsible for their own flight and accommodation bookings- according to their personal preferences. Travel organisation is not arranged by Central Coordination.
They are kindly asked to make their travel arrangements well in advance to avoid disappointments and to ensure flight and accommodation availability.

Public Transportation to the Meeting Venue:
The closest bus station is about 1 minute‘ walk from the Palazzo dei Congressi: from the main station please take bus no. 35 or 38.
Reimbursement
Travel and accommodation costs will be reimbursed up to a certain limit for participants eligible to receive travel and accommodation benefits (see EHDN reimbursement policy below).
EHDN members travelling within Europe are entitled to have their travel expenses reimbursed up to a maximum of 400 EUR.
EHDN members travelling from non-European countries can be reimbursed for travel costs up to 600 EUR.
Please note: costs above that cannot be covered by EHDN.
EHDN reimbursement policy:
The following people are entitled to attend EHDN2022 and are eligible to receive the travel and accommodation benefits:
– all regular members of the EHDN
– all associated members of the EHDN who are active in working groups
– 2 representatives/observers from each HDA based within the respective European countries and those countries affiliated to the HAD
– only hotel (no 5*) and transportation (airfare, train, km via car)
– only hotel and accommodation for EHDN member attending the conference. If partner/family travels along, this is NOT reimbursed. (children do NOT count as members)
– NO meals
– maximum 3 nights reimbursed (nights of the plenary meeting)
Please note that applications for regular or associated membership submitted after May 23, 2022 will not be eligible for reimbursement.
Guests are welcome and able to register for the meeting and the social events – however, guests are not eligible for receiving travel and accommodation benefits.
Reimbursement forms need to be submitted by latest November 30, forms handed in after this deadline will not be accepted.

CME credits
The EHDN Plenary Meeting 2022, Bologna, Italy, 16/09/2022-18/09/2022 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 17 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.
